Why it exists
Useful local information is scattered across posters, chats, social accounts, venue pages and word of mouth. The aim is to make events, places and practical guides easier to find and easier to trust, without turning the site into a cluttered directory.

The starting point is Sanya, but life does not stop at a city boundary. The intended coverage follows the places people actually travel across the southern coast, including nearby parts of Lingshui, Wanning and other useful destinations around southern Hainan.
How the guide should work
Checked and attributable
Published listings should show where information came from and when important details were last checked.
Open to the wider community
The focus is international life, but the guide is for anyone interested in discovering, joining and contributing respectfully.

Language versions should be complete and reviewed. Empty pages and unreviewed machine translations should not be published.
